Terms and Educational Disclaimer
General terms for using the platform
These terms are starter MVP language for an educational software product. They should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before paid services, AI tools, uploads, or large-scale customer use.
Educational information only
Your Justice Compass provides general educational information and organization tools. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, legal opinions, claim valuation, litigation strategy, or predictions about whether a claim will succeed.
No attorney-client relationship
Using the website, creating an account, reading content, using guided workflows, or receiving AI-generated educational output does not create an attorney-client relationship with Your Justice Compass or any individual.
No substitute for a licensed attorney
Users are responsible for their own decisions, filings, deadlines, evidence preservation, court rules, arbitration rules, and communications. For advice about a specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or appropriate legal aid organization.
Deadlines and local rules
Employment claims, administrative charges, arbitration demands, court filings, service, discovery, motions, and appeals can have strict deadlines. The platform may explain general concepts, but users must verify deadlines and rules independently.
User content
Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of the information they enter. Users should avoid entering information they are not comfortable storing in an online service.
AI-assisted features
When AI features are added, output should be treated as a draft educational aid that may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not applicable. Users must review all output carefully and should not rely on it as legal advice.
Paid access
When paid features are added, a one-time pass or subscription may unlock additional workflows. Payment does not create legal representation or guarantee a result.
Account deletion
Users can request account deletion from the account page. Some records may remain where necessary for security, billing, compliance, backup, or dispute purposes.
